Welcome to Western States Electric Fun Fly website. June 4th, 5th, and 6th - 2010 will be the third annual holding of what has become one of the premier all electric events on the West Coast. So gather up your chargers, and gather up your batteries because this year we hope you'll be impressed with our flying facility and the event located at Apollo XI Field in Encino, CA. Please be sure to check back to this site for updates before and after the event.

Please get your batteries charged, come out, and help us have a great time at the Western States Electric Fly event. We have a wonderful facility and a great event planned for your pleasure. We have officialy made this event an annual electric event and would like to share it with the entire West Coast. That means you: Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Nevada, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Arizona and California. We have room for thousands of flyers and event goers. The Valley Flyers successfully hosted the SAE event in 2010 with a turn out of over 3000 people. This pretext was not at all informative enough and I'd like to invite you back to this site for more info very shortly.

This year marks the third large, all western states electric event that the Valley Flyers will host. With the 60 years experience of The Valley Flyers, the brilliant insight and knowledge of Benny Elkouby as the Contest Director and Electric Director of Valley Flyers, the digits of Clifford Sonnentag on event media, the fine planning and management of Jason Pakfar, and the support of the entire Valley Flyers Club, this year’s event is sure to rock.
There is plenty of room for Vendors on the facility in prime locations for both flyers and spectators to see and hear what you have to offer. Specially designated Vendor tent locations will be setup by an event contracting company. These will soon be available to choose from online. The club has access to create your company a banner and display it across the event grounds for a nominal charge. (Artwork must meet requirements*) We plan to host a great event that will benefit everyone including the manufacturers, vendors, spectators, and especially, the pilots
Overnight motorhome camping is provided Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Tent camping is also available. Every night is a night flying night and one of the nights will no doubt include something extra special.
